What is God speaking to you today about His will?
Wait, we not talking about Will Smith?
I’m aware of death at all times. We’re all motivated by love and fear. Sometimes we use fear and sometimes we let fear use us. Yesterday was a tough day, man. When I let fear use me, I tend to sway from my intentional plans. But like any good excuse, it’s justified.

See there’s God’s will and then there are these things we’re willing to do while we wait. I’m not a patient person. I take my food out of the microwave still cold and lately, I’ve been watching paint dry. Real exciting stuff going on over here. But na, really - waiting on God is hard! When we give it to the Lord and operate in his will, He takes it from there.
(Come on man. Stop playing with me. You knew I was gonna bring that justified reference back full circle. I’m in the future already. I’m driving a g500. Keep up)
I know God’s will for my life, He’s just not moving quick enough. At least that’s how my thought process starts. Sometimes, I’d rather shake a Magic 8ball. Not a great choice, unless you're playing that new Mac Ayers.

The question I’ve been asking myself lately is: what am I prolonging by not waiting? When we operate outside of God's will, we end up having to do more. Growing up, my mom would always tell me, “A half-ass job is always twice as hard.”
The scripture says this...
“May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.” - Matthew 6:10
I have to ask myself, am I operating in faith or fear. Are my actions in line with what God wants for me. Am I operating in his will?
“Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do.” - Ephesians 5:17

I guess at this point, I'm wondering why I started the devotion with a Will Smith skydiving video. The truth of the matter is - Following the will of God's life is scary. But we have to bold enough to answer when the Lord calls.
Prayer:
God, today I am asking for your will in my life to come to pass. I believe that all things work together for my good. Thank you for the peace that comes in trusting your will for me and my family’s lives. Give me the strength and courage to carry out your will. Allow for me to accept your will to give you the glory!
